Amsterdam

I spent the last weekend at my friend's place in Amsterdam.
We had a small revival of our studies, as another good friend also passed by. Because we have been to Amsterdam several times before, we did not check out much of this nice and vibrating city. Most of the time, we were just chilling and relaxing at home, cooking, eating, drinking, sleeping and all those nice things. On Sunday, we went out with our bikes (typical Dutch) to the city. We took the ferry to get over to North Amsterdam. There is an old industrial area, which is now a hippy hipster place. We had dinner at the restaurant and bar "Pllek", known as creative hang out place. You can see our delicious pumpkin soup on the pictures above. It was raining most of the time, but we still did a bit of sight seeing. What is typical Dutch for you?
